Oh, that was because Ledger Jokers were EVERYWHERE. The next year, Rorschachs were EVERYWHERE. And then Deadpools were EVERYWHERE. Now Harleys are EVERYWHERE. Who knows what will be the next big cosplay splurge. But you’re right, Catman is off the beaten path. I just… don’t know him as a character so. There you go.

It’s not that it’s a BAD thing that these characters are popular or a lot of people cosplay them. It’s not, but it’s like… going to a party and 20 people are wearing basically the same outfit. It gets boring! And then subtleties and intricacies get lost.
